join the MGL Golf Club!
What is the MGL GC?
New for 2010, MGL has partnered with the Golf Association of Michigan to
offer you a way to join the GAM without being a member of a traditional
golf club. The MGL GC is a club without real estate, but our
members receive all the benefits of the 60,000+ GAM members statewide.
In addition to the great list of GAM member benefits, MGL GC members will
also be invited to enjoy special discounts, participate in members-only
events, and more!
Why should I join the MGL GC?
You'll save many times more than the membership cost, enjoying an
amazing array of benefits from the GAM:
{1} SWING & SAVE
Show your 2010 GAM Gold Card and Swing & Save at more than
200 golf courses around the state including 2 for 1 greens fees at select
courses. Show your card over and over, there are no limits to how many times
you can use your GAM Gold Card and save hundreds of dollars! It pays for
itself, the first or second time you use the card.
{2} EXCLUSIVE TEE TIMES
GAM Gold Card Members have the ability to purchase tee
times at select private clubs. These clubs have set aside blocks of tee
times exclusively for GAM members (2010 tee times will be made available
starting April 1, 2010). All you have to do is log in, go to "tee times" on
the toolbar, find a tee time that fits into your schedule, book it, and pay
for it online -- in one convenient step. The price includes golf, cart, and
driving range (if available). This new program is a great opportunity for
GAM members to play different courses and experience the benefits of private
club membership.
{3} MICHIGAN LINKS MAGAZINE
The quarterly publication keeps you up-to-date on GAM
events, benefits, and more.
{4} GAM COURSE DIRECTORY
Annual Michigan Links Golf Course Directory, the states
most comprehensive listing of golf courses. The directory includes basic
information on every course in Michigan, plus expanded listings from GAM
member clubs, including yardage, course and slope ratings, guest fees, and
directions.
{5} GAM COMPETITIONS
Eligibility to enter GAM tournaments for all skill levels
– Including GAM Golf Days, a series of 15- 20 one-day events at some of the
state’s top private clubs - includes, golf, cart, range, and gift
certificates given to top gross and net players in each flight.
{6} RECEIVE AN OFFICIAL USGA/GAM HANDICAP INDEX
How do I join the MGL
GC?
1.
Click HERE!
2. Click on the membership link on the top banner (2nd from left)
3. Click JOIN NOW!
4. Choose the middle column for new Membership and click on New Registration
5. Select Register myself if the membership is for you
6. Click Next after reading the brief membership summary
7. Enter “MGL” where it asks for Club Name
8. Click Select
9. Accept the terms
10. Register and pay ($35) and you’re officially a member of the MGL Golf
Club and a Golf Card GAM member. Enjoy!
